College Counseling

The high school counseling department at Fulton Science Academy provides a range of services to students. The department has three high school counselors who focus on academic, social/emotional, and college and career readiness. The student to counseling ratio is impressively low at 1:70, compared to the State of Georgia's ratio of 1:419 (ASCA).

The department has regular meetings to discuss student needs, share resources, and plan strategies. The counseling program includes individual and classroom counseling, as well as crisis intervention. Additionally, all students are required to meet with their counselor to discuss their graduation progress, and can request meetings to address academic, social/emotional, and postsecondary concerns.
