Band instruments include all orchestral wind instruments as well as percussion, allowing students to discover and develop their preferred musical styles.

Beyond the Curriculum

These additional programs not only expand students’ musical horizons but also help them refine their skills and collaborate with their peers. Furthermore, FSA Band students have the opportunity to showcase their talents at local concert festivals and GMEA District V events, including LGPE and All-State Band, celebrating their dedication and achievements in music.

FSA's Band program offers a diverse range of woodwind, brass, and percussion instruments, providing students with the opportunity to explore and develop their unique musical styles.

Beyond the core curriculum, students can further enrich their musical experience by participating in a variety of programs, including Pep Band, Advanced Band, Drumline, Bucket Drumming Ensemble, and Jazz Band.The Jazz Band, in particular, is a standout feature of the program. It allows students to immerse themselves in genres such as swing, funk, Latin, rock, and pop. This ensemble focuses on performance, improvisation, and creativity, and is open to all students—whether they play traditional band or orchestra instruments, or instruments like drum set, electric bass, electric guitar, and piano.
