Project Based Learning
Fulton provides resources and support for students to conduct research, develop prototypes, and test their ideas. Students can work individually or in teams and collaborate with faculty members, industry experts, and other professionals to enhance their projects.
At Fulton, we also offer opportunities for students to publish and present their work. This includes participating in academic conferences, presenting at school events, and submitting papers to journals or online platforms, such as Scripta, an academic, peer-reviewed journal published semiannually by Fulton Science Academy faculty and students. The journal showcases research articles written by bright, diverse young minds and thoroughly edited by a collaborative team of devoted revisers that include students and faculty.
Through the school's astronomy program, students can learn how to use telescopes, cameras, and other equipment to capture images of the night sky. We offer opportunities for students to explore astrophotography, the practice of photographing celestial objects and phenomena.
Fulton has a strong focus on international partnerships, such as its collaboration with Gyeonggi Science High School for the Gifted In South Korea. This partnership allows students from both schools to share ideas, collaborate on projects, and learn from one another's cultures and perspectives.
